每年农历七月初七这一天，是我国的传统节日七夕节。七夕节源于牛郎和织女的古老爱情故事，每年七月初七这一天，牛郎和织女就会相会。织女是一个美丽聪明、心灵手巧的仙女，凡间的妇女在这一天向她祈求智慧和巧艺，也向她求赐美满姻缘，所以七夕也被称为“乞巧节”或是“中国的情人节”。
